About Arla Foods Ltd
Arla Foods is a farmer-owned dairy cooperative that produces and sells dairy products such as milk, cheese, butter and yogurt under brands including Arla, Lurpak, Castello and Puck. It was formed in 2000 through the merger of the Swedish cooperative Arla and the Danish company MD Foods, and is owned by dairy farmers in several European countries. Its Arla Foods Ingredients business specialises in whey proteins and milk-based ingredients.
