About the role
The successful candidate will join a growing General Agency team delivering a wide range of professional and project-based Surveying services across Northern Ireland and Ireland.
This is a hands-on role offering excellent variety and responsibility, suited to someone who enjoys working across both commercial agency and project delivery work. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and have the opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of the service line.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking a broad range of commercial agency surveying services
- Preparation of technical due diligence, condition and defect reports
- Preparation and negotiation of schedules of dilapidations
- Design, specification and contract administration of refurbishment, repair and fit-out projects
- Production and amendment of AutoCAD drawings
- Preparation of schedules of works, specifications and tender documentation
- Monitoring project / developments
- Reinstatement cost assessments
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) reports
- Attendance at client, contractor and design team meetings
- Managing client relationships and supporting business development initiatives
Requirements
- Qualification: Chartered Surveyor (SCSI / RICS) or within 12 months of sitting for the APC
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience
- Experience preparing drawings and working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Experience in refurbishment and fit-out projects, including contract administration duties
- Good report writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
- Commercial awareness and proactive approach to client service
- Proficient in IT including Excel, Word, and other relevant tools
- Experience in preparing reports to agreed formats and templates
- Full UK Driving licence
