Business Development Manager

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing and developing a designated sales region
• Building strong, long-term relationships with optical practices and key stakeholders
• Identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth
• Delivering product training and support to customers
• Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
• Planning and organising your territory to maximise performance
• Keeping up to date with market trends and competitor activity
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service

Essential Requirements

• Experience in field-based sales or optical dispensing
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Results-driven with a competitive mindset
• Excellent organisation and planning skills
• Confident, professional, and persuasive approach
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• GCSEs (Maths, English + additional subjects)

Desirable Requirements

• Dispensing qualifications or practical dispensing experience
• Experience managing a sales territory
• Technical or manufacturing knowledge
• Degree or A-level qualifications (ideally related to optics)
