About the Role
Join Logistics UK as a Business Development Manager and help shape the future of fleet compliance and management technology. You will take ownership of growing our Vision cloud-based platform, helping transport and logistics businesses improve compliance, fleet management, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new opportunities for the Vision platform across prospective customers.
- Build, manage, and convert a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Work closely with Commercial and Operational teams to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within our existing customer base.
- Deliver engaging presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to customers at all levels.
- Support the successful onboarding and implementation of new customers to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Act as the Vision product specialist, providing support, guidance, and expertise to the wider commercial team.
- Gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights to help shape future product development and service offerings.
- Represent Logistics UK at trade shows, industry events, seminars, and networking opportunities.
- Support tender submissions and commercial proposals for new and existing contracts.
- Identify opportunities for wider Logistics UK services and refer leads through our CRM system.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels, from Transport Managers through to Board Directors, demonstrating how Vision can deliver value, improve compliance, and support business growth.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a Business Development, Account Management, or consultative sales role.
- Strong pipeline management and track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
- Strong relationship building and networking abilities.
- Comfortable delivering presentations, demonstrations, and proposals.
Desirable Experience
- Experience selling SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions.
- Knowledge of fleet management, operator licensing, or transport compliance.
- Understanding of drivers' hours legislation and tachograph compliance.
- Experience operating within the logistics, transport, or fleet sector.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Willing to travel extensively across the UK as required.
- Based anywhere in the UK; those located in or around the Midlands would be particularly well positioned for the role.
