Entity: Customers & Products Job Family Group: Supply & Trading Group Job Description: Role Overview Aviation’s vision is to be the fuel and services partner of choice for customers. As we continue redefining our business to become more customer focused, the CS&O team plays a pivotal role in integrating the T&S global jet team with Aviation. The purpose of this role is to lead the delivery of the CS&O operating strategy in partnership with T&S. This includes implementing new CS&O location models, enhancing existing frameworks, and enabling commercial teams across T&S, Midstream, and Aviation to unlock value and deliver strategic outcomes. Key Accountabilities Lead global expansion of CS&O models across the Aviation portfolio, driving cross‑functional projects with Midstream, Aviation, and T&S to deliver commercial strategy. Partner with commercial teams (originators, traders, CS&O marketers) to deeply understand commercial strategy and ensure new CS&O models support and challenge strategic direction during project setup, implementation, and MOC. Support Aviation’s sustainability agenda by helping grow SAF activity in collaboration with T&S and its global bio portfolio, unlocking new sources of value. Lead tactical strategy work in response to market changes, wider bp initiatives, or integrated strategy reviews. Support external engagement for new CS&O projects and commercial commitments. Act as a central CS&O subject matter expert, sharing knowledge and enabling adoption of appropriate business models across the wider organisation. Coach and support teams across Aviation, Fuels, Midstream, and other business areas on CS&O models and ways of working. Build strong connectivity with key business interfaces and group projects to support Aviation and CS&O strategic aims. Serve as subject matter authority on CS&O tools (e.g., hedging/price exposure), processes, and accounting methodologies, with strong understanding of performance and P&L (MI and MA). Drive continuous improvement of CS&O tools, processes, and ways of working to enhance efficiency, resolve issues, and create space for commercial opportunity. Education Degree‑level qualification or equivalent experience. Experience Significant experience in business processes, continuous improvement, and accounting principles, including Mark‑to‑Market and RCP. Strong commercial mindset and experience working closely with commercial teams. Deep knowledge of jet or oil product supply chains, trading, and the ability to articulate these clearly to internal and external stakeholders (T&S, Midstream, Aviation). Skills & Competencies Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence across cultures, businesses, and organisational levels. Strong presentation skills and confidence engaging diverse audiences. Demonstrated commercial judgement and project management capability, with awareness of agile principles.
