About the role
As a Senior Building Surveyor, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality building consultancy services and managing key client relationships across the Midlands. You'll work across a variety of projects with a multidisciplinary team spanning across England and Wales.
Key Project Types
- Technical due diligence for commercial and residential properties
- Preparing specifications, drawings, and risk assessments for refurbishments and maintenance
- Conducting building surveys, schedules of condition, dilapidation assessments, and defect analysis
- Leading QA processes and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice
- Presenting findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders

- Building surveys and defect diagnosis
You'll also collaborate with colleagues across our Building Consultancy teams throughout England and Wales, contributing to shared learning and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Member of RICS (MRICS) (essential), or actively working towards chartership
- Strong background in Building Surveying with experience in party wall matters, dilapidations, and defect analysis
- Proven ability to build client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Step 1: A confidential 10–15-minute introductory call with our recruiter, Naomi Corcoran.
Step 2: A competency-based interview with the Heads of Building Consultancy for Wales and the South.
