About Kitt

Founded in London in 2018, Kitt designs, builds, and operates workplaces that combine great spaces with exceptional service. From initial fit-out to day-to-day experience, we combine property expertise with a hospitality mindset to make work better for the people who use our spaces.

Alongside our managed office portfolio, Kitt manages a growing number of whole buildings on behalf of landlords across London. We bring a hands-on approach to building operations, combining commercial rigour with a focus on the people who work in, visit, and own our buildings.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Chartered Surveyor to take ownership of a portfolio of landlord clients and run the property management of their buildings end to end. This is a senior, hands-on role: you'll lead the client relationship, do the property management work yourself and help shape how the function scales in 2026 and beyond.

Reporting into one of our Founders, you'll be the senior point of contact for your clients, accountable for how their buildings perform, how their assets are positioned and how they experience working with Kitt. You'll have full ownership of your portfolio from day one, with a direct hand in growing the business through new instructions and whole building advisory work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of landlord clients, acting as their trusted adviser across property management and representing Kitt with owners, investors and their senior stakeholders
  • Run the property management of your buildings yourself, including service charge budgets and reconciliations, statutory compliance, contractor and supplier management and day-to-day performance
  • Drive value across your assets through lettings, renewals, expansions, regears and capex projects, and advise clients on the strategy for each asset
  • Produce and present clear, accurate client reporting on building performance and financials, and lead regular performance reviews with your clients
  • Manage occupier relationships and lease events, instructing and working with external advisers where needed
  • Analyse building performance to identify efficiencies and opportunities, and turn that analysis into recommendations your clients act on
  • Lead whole building advisory work and strategic recommendations for clients, including repositioning and refurbishment advice
  • Lead the onboarding of new buildings into the portfolio and take a lead role in pitches for new instructions
  • Help shape how the property management function scales, from processes and reporting to how we resource new buildings, and support the development of more junior members of the team
  • Work with our operations, fit out and client experience teams to resolve issues quickly and improve the occupier experience
  • Present in pitches to showcase Kitt and be a central part of winning new business

About You

  • Chartered Surveyor with at least 5 years PQE and a track record of running commercial property management instructions in your own name, ideally across London offices
  • You've owned client relationships before, not just supported them, and you're comfortable being the person a landlord calls when something matters
  • Fluent in service charges, compliance and landlord and tenant matters, with solid experience of leasing, lease events and capital projects
  • You think like an asset manager: you understand how operational decisions affect value, occupier experience and client trust, and you can make the case for a recommendation to a demanding client
  • Hands-on: you'd rather run a building well than only oversee people who do, and you're happy getting into the detail of a service charge budget or a dilapidations claim alongside advising on strategy
  • You enjoy refining processes and finding smarter ways to run buildings, and you want to help build a function rather than join one that's already finished
  • Ambitious: you want a senior seat in a fast growing business, direct exposure to the leadership team and a visible part in growing Kitt's building management portfolio
  • You'll thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment where your work makes a real difference

Interview Process

  • First round interview with Lawrence Sadler (Real Estate Director)
  • Final interview with Lucy Minton (CCO & Founder)

Benefits

  • Salary: £70,000 - £80,000
  • Stock options: Generous stock option scheme
  • Holiday: 28 days a year plus Bank Holidays
  • Parental leave: Up to 12 weeks paid parental leave for the primary caregiver
  • Pregnancy loss support leave
  • Social events: Regular socials
  • Financial wellness: Octopus MoneyCoach
  • Workplace nursery benefit
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Season Ticket Loans
  • Wellbeing: Dr Care Anywhere & access to Wellhub

Diversity & Inclusion

We believe the world is transformed when people come together to do extraordinary things. We harness the power of diverse perspectives and experiences, fostering collaboration and innovation to achieve results that make a positive impact. With the same set of equitable interview questions for all candidates and diverse hiring teams, we prioritise creating an inclusive environment where individuals' backgrounds or origins are irrelevant.
