About the role
You will join our successful Healthcare Valuation and Advisory team as a newly (soon to be) qualified Surveyor. The position will be based within the Bristol office with a national remit, servicing existing regional and national mandates.
You will primarily be involved in fund and loan security valuations working with top tier clients including funds, banks and operators. You will also work closely with other valuation colleagues in the wider team based across the London and Glasgow offices.
Responsibilities
- Undertake existing valuation mandates and assist to build contacts to attract new business
- Work on a mix of loan security and acquisition valuations in addition to regular mandates
- Prepare valuations and strategic advice to a wide variety of clients
- Take day to day responsibility for execution of instructions, initially under some supervision
- Develop a profile in the marketplace through building client relationships
- Prepare valuation reports in various formats
- Inspect assets across the UK
Requirements
- RICS Registered Valuer status required
- Knowledge of the Healthcare market (not essential — support and training will be provided)
- Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Working knowledge of Argus Enterprise (not essential — training will be given)
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, enabling the development of good relationships with both clients and colleagues
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast paced dynamic environment
- Team fit with a friendly, sociable, dedicated and hardworking team dynamic
