Location: Leeds Type: Permanent Salary: To £30,000 – Dependant on Experience

About the role
We are currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team based at our Leeds Head Office. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain insight and knowledge of passive fire protection measures including application of building regulations and fire safety standards across various building forms.
Responsibilities
- Assist with a range of pre and post contract surveying duties
- Prepare upfront cost estimates, interim accounts, and payment applications
- Prepare for and attend commercial handover meetings, site meetings and client progress meetings
- Assist with project cost control, cost planning and Quantity Surveying matters
- Work closely with operational and supporting design teams
Requirements
- Degree qualified in either Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
- Strong commercial awareness
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
