About the Role
The ideal candidate for the position of Holiday Lettings Manager will be extremely motivated and career driven, with experience in managing and leading a team to drive performance, enhance skills and create a positive culture. Experience in the property sector would be beneficial, but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and lead the operations of the Island Holiday Homes Lettings team
- Appraisal and instruction of holiday home rental properties
- Deliver excellent customer care
- Carry out morning meetings and monthly 1-2-1s with staff
- Staff training and development
- Manage the overall success of the Holiday Lettings team
- Meet and exceed targets for the business
- Arrange and conduct viewing appointments and secure property lets
- Work in accordance with all legal obligations without exception
Required Skills
- Team management experience
- Strong negotiation skills
- High level of customer service skills
- Good telephone manner and positive attitude
- Tenacity and be a self-starter with the drive to succeed
- Ability to build and nurture trusted relationships at all levels
- Strong organisational skills
- Be responsive to change
- A full UK driving license
