The Role
We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor or QS to join the commercial/Ops and pre-con team in Dundee, following recent project wins in the region and growth in the energy connections industry.
Key responsibilities:
- Positive commercial strategisation and administration for portfolio of projects to ensure effective delivery of successful results and management of key risks and opportunities
- Effective administration and management of projects in line with the IMS
- Maintain accurate reports and forecasts
- Lead the creation and utilisation of processes to ensure proactive contract management and administration
- Accurate turnover, cost and cash forecasting
- Change and risk management
- Periodic financial reporting
- Lead a team of individuals at various stages of their careers across multiple disciplines
About You
Essential qualifications and experience:
- Proven Quantity Surveyor
- Formal Quantity surveying qualification, ideally degree level
- RICS membership
- Experience in Infrastructure construction
- Strong commercial and contract management skills
- Experience managing cost control, subcontractors, and reporting on multiple projects
- Confident in client and project team engagement
Advantageous:
- Energy connections, HV or Renewables background
- Other infrastructure construction experience such as highways, rail, or civil engineering
- Excellent commercial management skills controlling portfolios of multi-million pound construction contracts

Salary: £60,000 - £85,000 per annum
