About the role
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to help us empower people pursuing more active and healthier lives. You play a key role in positioning companies as attractive employers, increasing their agility, and reducing absenteeism.
Responsibilities
- Customer Acquisition: Identify and acquire new customers in medium and large enterprises, establishing EGYM Wellpass as the leading solution for corporate health management
- Outbound Sales: Proactively approach potential customers via phone, email, or social media and convince them of the benefits of our product
- Event Support: Represent us at various events, actively invite prospects, and establish initial contact. Build valuable relationships and independently follow up on leads to expand the sales pipeline
- Teamwork: Work in close collaboration with sales colleagues and cross-functional teams to target specific accounts and integrate them into the sales pipeline
- Business Development: Utilize state-of-the-art tools (e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to win new business contacts and successfully represent our brand
- CRM Usage: Track activities in our CRM system (Salesforce) and use it to plan and organize your work
Requirements
- Education and Experience: Ideally hold a degree in business administration or comparable qualification, with initial experience in sales with a focus on prospecting
- Communication Skills: Enjoy picking up the phone to approach customers directly. Confidently use various communication channels such as email, LinkedIn, and Sales Navigator to target prospects and build relationships
- Business Mindset: Enjoy diving into clients' business models and strategizing on how to create win-win situations
- Work Style: Work independently and in a goal-oriented manner, actively contributing your own ideas
- Professional Growth: Can envision yourself developing into the role of a Sales Manager (m/f/d) over the coming years
First 6 months
- Successfully complete all areas of onboarding and become fully familiar with your responsibilities
- Celebrate your first sales wins and consistently generate SQLs (Sales Qualified Leads) in line with targets
- Maintain a complete and accurate record of sales activities within Salesforce
- Be highly valued by your team and key stakeholders for your collaboration and significant contributions
