Property Manager – Northampton

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to join our team in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further their career in property management, with a full career path and support provided.

Responsibilities

  • Booking and conducting property inspections
  • Negotiating tenancy extensions and/or renewals
  • Co-ordinating with contractors to manage maintenance and/or repair issues at properties
  • Deposit returns
  • Resolving rental arrears
  • Processing eviction requests
  • Ensuring properties meet all regulatory health and safety standards
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and tenants
  • Managing complaints
  • Completing all check in and check out procedures, including full inventory reports

Requirements

Experience and skills

  • Minimum 1+ years' previous experience in a Property Manager role
  • Outstanding customer service
  • Good telephone manner
  • IT skills

Driving

  • You must hold a valid Full UK Driving Licence for a manual car. We cannot accept automatic-only driving licences at this time.

Legal requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK (in accordance with the Immigration Asylum and Nationality Act 2006)
  • Evidence of right to work in the UK in the form of: Passport/Birth Certificate
  • Proof of Address
  • National Insurance
  • Drivers Licence Check

Other

  • You may be required to interview via video call at some point(s) in the application process.

Salary and benefits

Compensation

  • £27,800 to £32,480 OTE dependent on experience, consisting of:
  • Basic salary of £20,000 to £27,500 per year, dependent on experience
  • £4,980 additional earnings expected through uncapped commission scheme
  • Company Car

Working hours

  • Full-time: 08:30–18:00 (weekdays) and 09:00–17:00 (one in every four Saturday's, with a day-in-lieu)
