About the Role

The Commercial discipline is responsible for driving business growth, managing partnerships, and providing industry subject matter expertise and advisory to both clients and internal teams. This strategic and consultative team creates meaningful relationships with clients through their combined knowledge of IT services and industry trends and pain points. Members include business development staff of all levels, client partners, alliances and partnerships managers, industry advisors, and operational leads.

As a Senior Business Development Manager at Endava, you will identify new clients, and introduce them to our capabilities and IT services. You'll guide these new customers through the entire sales cycle, offering solutions that allow them to achieve business goals through enterprise transformation of their IT environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor, selling IT professional services and building long-term client relationships.
  • Generate and qualify new opportunities through cold outreach, networking, referrals, research, and lead generation.
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from target identification through negotiation, close, and revenue growth.
  • Build a strong pipeline, win strategic deals, and consistently exceed sales and financial targets.
  • Become a recognised industry SME and thought leader, representing the business at events, workshops, panels, and conferences.

Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years driving new business growth in offshore/nearshore IT services, with a strong hunter mentality.
  • Deep Technology sector expertise, backed by an established network of enterprise buyers and decision-makers.
  • Proven success winning and growing large enterprise accounts, leading strategic sales initiatives from prospecting to close.
  • Strong executive presence, able to engage, influence, and negotiate with VP and C-level stakeholders around key business and technology challenges.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding targets, delivering £5M+ annual quota attainment, and creating compelling proposals, business cases, and SOWs.

Additional Requirements

  • Travel is an integral part of this role and the individual will need to travel locally, within country, and internationally as needed to perform the role (they should have a valid passport/driving license and be prepared to travel during working hours as needed by the company).
  • Work-related tradeshows or live events may require the individual to occasionally lift 25 pounds.
