About the Role

You will be working in the Infrastructure OU based in Norwich in partnership with National Highways, shaping the future of travel at the A47 Thickthorn junction. Two new free‑flowing slip roads will ease congestion and improve connections between the A47 and A11 — saving commuters and businesses hundreds of hours every week.

Our Infrastructure team brings design, build and refurbishment excellence to complex civil engineering projects nationwide – combining technical expertise with a passion for creating lasting value for people and places.

We are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who will provide commercial management and manage a small team of commercial professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Management of Subcontractors - certification of payment and change
  • Management of allocated Control Accounts with site team including cost/value reconciliations and out-turn forecast / spend profiling
  • Keeping costs and records to ensure agreement of Defined Costs with National Highways Site Representatives
  • Utilisation of Site Commercial and Document Systems (Oracle, CEMAR, ProjectWise, Forecasting Tools)
  • Providing commercial support to the Procurement process
  • Providing and presenting contract, cost and forecasting data to the site team

Requirements

  • NEC Contract Knowledge
  • Previous experience of managing subcontractors
  • Knowledge of commercial digital systems
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Highways Experience (desirable)
