About the role
At haart Estate Agents in Ashford, we're searching for an ambitious, people-focused individual to join our team as a Trainee Property Lettings Agent. If you're confident, driven, and enjoy building relationships, we'll provide all the training, support, and development you need to build a successful career in the property industry.
Compensation & Hours
- Salary: £28,000 OTE per year
- Commission: Uncapped
- Working hours: 8:30am to 6pm four weekdays per week, and 9am to 5pm every Saturday
Responsibilities
- Market properties to potential tenants
- Arrange and conduct property viewings
- Negotiate offers
- Agree new tenancies
- Generate new leads through canvassing, door knocking, and leaflet dropping
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Landlords and Tenants
- Continue your training and development, with close support from your mentor

Requirements
- Full, clean UK driving licence (manual or automatic car)
- Access to your own vehicle
- Proof of business insurance for your vehicle (required before starting)
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Basic IT proficiency and a keen eye for detail
- Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK as per the Immigration, Asylum, and Nationality Act 2006
- Evidence of right to work in the UK, such as a passport or birth certificate
- Video call interview required at some point(s) in the application process
Initial Training
Your journey will begin with two weeks at the Spicerhaart Learning & Development Centre:
- Purpose-built training location
- Industry-leading training delivered through one-to-one and group sessions
- Day-to-day learning led by industry experts
- Fully-paid hotel stay for the duration of your training at the Learning & Development Centre in Colchester
- Breakfast, lunch and an evening meal provided during your stay

Important terms
If you are successful in your application but voluntarily leave the role within the first 12 months of employment, you may be required to reimburse the company for the costs associated with your training programme.
