Are you a motivated, people-focused individual looking to build a rewarding career in the property industry? We're seeking an enthusiastic Trainee Lettings Negotiator to join our dynamic team. No previous experience in lettings is required—we're looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, giving you the opportunity to develop your skills and progress within a successful and growing company.

The Role

Location: Felicity J Lord Estate Agents in Blackheath

Salary & Commission: £28,000 OTE per year with uncapped commission

Working Hours:

  • 8:30am to 6pm four weekdays per week
  • 9am to 5pm every Saturday

Key Responsibilities

  • Market properties to potential tenants
  • Arrange and conduct property viewings
  • Negotiate offers
  • Agree new tenancies
  • Generate new leads through canvassing, door knocking, and leaflet dropping
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Landlords and Tenants
  • Continue your training and development, with close support from your mentor

Training & Development

Your journey as a Lettings Negotiator will begin with two weeks at the Spicerhaart Learning & Development Centre:

  • Purpose-built training location
  • Industry-leading training delivered through one-to-one and group sessions
  • Day-to-day learning led by industry experts
  • Fully-paid hotel stay for the duration of your training at our Learning & Development Centre in Colchester
  • Breakfast, lunch and an evening meal provided during your stay

Additional training and development:

  • Enrolment at the Spicerhaart Learning & Development Centre
  • Continued training as you grow and develop within your role
  • Career progression opportunities, including the opportunity for two promotions in your first 12 months of employment

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence (manual or automatic car)
  • Access to your own vehicle
  • Proof of business insurance for your vehicle (required before starting)

If you are successful in your application for this role but voluntarily leave the role within the first 12 months of employment, you may be required to reimburse the company for the costs associated with your training programme.
