Float Lettings Consultant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Float Lettings Consultant to join us and provide essential support and cover across some, or all of our 9 lettings offices.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with potential new tenants to understand their individual requirements and backgrounds, to make informed recommendations of suitable properties to rent and landlords
• Develop a good understanding of the property portfolio
• Coordinate and conduct property viewings with prospective tenants
• Negotiate terms between the landlord and tenants
• Conduct periodic inspections of our rental properties to ensure they are being well maintained by the tenants in occupation

Requirements

• Own car essential
• Some previous industry experience preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
• Confident and professional with effective communication by telephone and face-to-face
• Enthusiastic and competitive
• Excellent communication skills, with a positive and professional approach
• IT proficient, familiar with MS Office packages and able to learn quickly
• Full UK driving license and use of own car essential

Salary & Benefits

• Basic salary circa £27,000 p/a, depending on relevant experience

Hours of Work

• Full Time, 5 days per week, including Saturdays with a day off during the week
• Branch opening hours: 8:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:30pm Friday, and 9:00am to 4:00pm on Saturdays
