About the role

Join us in this varied role where you'll be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient workplace. As Facilities Manager, you'll act as a trusted partner and property specialist for a portfolio of properties. You'll be working collaboratively with teams across the bank to deliver improvements in process and customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the building owner accountable for all day-to-day and change activity within the property
  • Deliver all facilities services in accordance with approved procedures and standards
  • Ensure service level targets are achieved in relation to running costs, energy conservation and cost reduction opportunities
  • Act as the key interface for any projects within the property, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace with planned reactive maintenance through helpdesk and supply partners
  • Understand what the customer and business thinks and feels by actively reviewing key performance indications, identifying trends and taking timely action to address areas of improvement
  • Maintain adherence to operating standards, quality processes and manage supplier partner relationships, in order to optimise performance and value for money
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal, external and supplier stakeholders, enabling positive customer and business outcomes across organisational boundaries
  • Act as internal consultant and subject matter expert to the stakeholder network, ensuring compliance with all internal and external regulatory standards, process and controls

Requirements

  • Experience gained in a property related discipline, facilities management or supplier management
  • Professional qualification such as Facilities Management with a minimum standard of level 4, or equivalent
  • The ability to manage stakeholders effectively
  • Knowledge of risk and compliance management practices
  • Experience in delivering successful customer experience and service performance improvement initiatives
